Jess has been visiting India since her early days at the Royal College of Art, lapping up the colours, and spices of an exotic land, where the cows eat grapefruit, and people still weave cloth on handlooms from their homes. Having been brought up in Wales, and quite used to sitting in a shop, Jess is at ease with rural village life and feels at home working with local craftspeople, and happy communicating through another language in order to create beautiful textiles.
