A living craft

Robe de Voyage garments are made from natural fibres: silk, cotton, linen and wool. We commission our fabrics from local weavers in India, whose skills have been passed down through generations.

The cloth tells a story; its handle and softness come from fibres that haven't been processed by machines, and its drape comes from looms that move at a human pace.  The colours and prints originate in Jess's London studio, drawn from a lifetime of seeing and working in colour.

Each Robe de Voyage piece is made by hand — weavers, dyers, printers and button makers each contributing their expertise to a single garment.

The textiles are born in India, the patterns are cut in Paris, and the designs are created in London.

Robe de Voyage is crafted to be worn, travelled with, and loved for years to come.
