A living craft

Robe de Voyage works mainly with silk, cotton, linen and wool. We commission our fabric from local weavers in India. The fabrics are hand-spun, hand-woven, and made by makers whose skills have passed through generations.

The cloth tells you why we choose it, its handle and softness come from fibres that haven't been processed by machines. The drape comes from looms that move at a human pace and the colour from Jess's vision, eyes that have been seeing in colour for decades.

Each Robe de Voyage garment is made by hand — weavers, dyers, printers, button makers. Each maker brings a lifetime of expertise to a single garment.

The textiles are born in India. Patterns are cut in Paris. The print and garment design begins in London.

Robe de Voyage is craft to be worn, travelled, and lived in.
